What's under the floor
A vinyl floor is only as good as what's under it.
Vinyl is thin and honest. Every dip, ridge and damp patch underneath shows through in time. That's why so much of our work happens before the new floor goes down.
01 · The slab
Sound, clean and dry
Concrete has to be sound, clean and dry. Damp in a slab can stop a floor from bonding, and it can only be found by testing.
02 · Levelling
Flat before anything else
Dips and ridges show through vinyl. We screed and self-level until the base is flat.
03 · Adhesive
An even bed
Glue-down floors are bonded to an even bed of adhesive.
04 · The new floor
Chosen for what goes over it
Sheet, planks or tiles, chosen for the room and for what crosses it every day: feet, trolleys or forklifts.
Finished
Sealed, flat and ready for traffic
Most of this work you'll never see again, and it's the reason the floor still looks right in years to come.

Do you supply and install flooring?
Yes. We supply all the materials, and our own team of professional installers lays your chosen floor for you.
What's the best flooring for a South African home?
The most popular choices are vinyl, laminate, tiles and engineered wood. Vinyl and laminate are especially popular because they're durable, affordable and cope well with temperature changes. Whatever you choose, we offer a warranty on all our flooring products.
Vinyl or tiles for an African climate?
In many African climates vinyl does better than tiles. It's more comfortable underfoot, copes with changes in temperature, and is easier and faster to clean.
Do you work in other cities, or across the border?
Yes. Most of our local work is in Gauteng, and we supply and install across South Africa and in other African countries, including Angola, Botswana, DR Congo, Eswatini, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Seychelles, St Helena, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
